Octo Kiddos 2.0 is a finished OctoPeeps collection on Polygon, capped at 2,222. Contract: `0xa657e5e2Ef8AeC8f54D5E136fec40F296425881a` This collection was originally deployed as OctoPeeps Kingdoms. In October 2025 it was relaunched as Octo Kiddos 2.0 with new artwork, metadata and staking pools. The reason is on-chain and permanent: ownership of the original Octo Kiddos contract was renounced, so no one can administer it any more - no minting, no pausing, no metadata updates, ever. That collection is frozen exactly as it stands. Rather than leave the Kiddos line stranded, the Kingdoms contract became its home. So the contract still reports its original name internally, while the collection everyone knows is Octo Kiddos 2.0. The original [Octo Kiddos](/octopeeps/nfts/octo-kiddos.md) remains a separate, finished collection. ### Supply The community voted to cap Octo Kiddos 2.0 at 2,222 rather than let it run to the contract's maximum. The contract's own `maxSupply` reads 4,848 and can never be changed, so the cap is enforced on the mint itself. The final mint event ran from 5 to 19 October 2026; afterwards the team topped the supply up to 2,222 and locked minting by pausing the contract and setting the per-transaction limit to zero.
