OctoPeeps Kingdoms is a collection of 4,848 generated NFTs. Collection of 5 humanoid octopus races with specific features and skills, living as ERC-721 tokens on the Polygon blockchain and hosted on IPFS.

OctoPeeps Universe

More than 4 billion years ago the ocean was born. It completely transformed the planet, creating a watery oasis that gave rise to 5 Kingdoms settled by the first OctoPeeps. There are 5 species of OctoPeeps living in diverse habitats from the upper layer to the very bottom of the ocean - mysterious places, never explored before. Each spec is unique with its own peculiarities, strengths and weaknesses.

Kingdoms

The Sunlit Kingdom is at the uppermost layer of the Ocean. It receives enough sunlight, which makes its citizens look, behave and live just like people. The depth of the Sunlite Kingdom is 200 meters. The most communicative and open community in the whole ocean lives here.

The Twilight Kingdom is defined by the light and begins at the depth where only 1% of incident light reaches and ends where there is no light at all. The depth of the Kingdom is 200-1000 meters. It hosts a diverse community of citizens adapted to live in a low-light world. Some of them spend their lives in its shadowy depths, while others travel to and from the surface of the ocean.

The Dark Kingdom or the Midnight Kingdom. Its depth is 1000-4000 meters. Here the only visible light is that produced by citizens themselves. In spite of the pressure, a surprisingly large amount of creatures can be found here. Most of the inhabitants of the Kingdom are black or red in color due to the lack of light.

The Abyss Kingdom extended from 4000 to 6000 meters. The water temperature here is near freezing and there is no light at all. Very few creatures can be found at these crushing depths. Most of the inhabitants look like basket stars and squids.

The Hades Kingdom lies from 6000 meters to the bottom of the deepest part of the ocean. Inhabitants of the Kingdom are mostly found in deep water trenches and canyons. They adjusted themselves to extremely high pressure and low temperature by wearing waterproof iron armor. So life can still be found here.
