# Traits

**OctoPeeps Kingdoms collection is made of 400+ layers.** Each NFT consists of 9 layers. They are **Background, Body, Head, Hat, Accessories, Armor, Gloves, Weapon, and Boots.** Some layers are rarer than others. 

Most layers have 4 types of rarity: **Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary.** Only the Head layer has 5 types of rarity. This layer defines the rarity of each specific Kingdom AND gives your NFT basic stats/levels. For example, Sunlit Kingdom is the most popular. At the same time if you own OctoPeep from the Hades Kingdom - you are lucky because these warriors are 4 times rarely seen in the deep ocean.
